LES-A-LES//Távora-Varosa
The most recent project of producers Jorge Santos & Rui Lopes, this collection is a voyage through some of Portugal’s forgotten wine heritage, boasting some of the rarest and most peculiar gems the country has to offer.
For their “Cerceal + Malvasia Fine,” Jorge and Rui headed to Távora-Varosa, where a vineyard with some serious altitude (700m) lay waiting for them to harvest. The wine, a result of yet another unique find, is a perfect expression of the region’s bright acid, floral aromatic style with an elegant silky mouth feel.
